Day One~A Realization Of What To Do
It is so easy to say you're going to take control of your life but to do it is a horse of a different color. I mean it's easy to tell other people what to do but when you have to tell yourself what to do you find all types of excuses. Like yesterday, I had a piece of cake, a hamburger, french fries, and PIZZA? Was I trying to sabbatoge my beginning? Maybe I need professional help? Gads, I'm acting like a little child standing and stomping my feet because I don't want to do something I know I need to do. Okay, so this morning I started off good. I had poached eggs and some Canadian Bacon which is allowed. I don't drink coffee so I don't have to be afraid of a caffine high. And now I'm getting ready to go to the gym. So I need support from everyone. I know I can do this. What is the saying? Practise something for 30 days and then it comes natually? So I'm willing to give it my all. I will be writing a ton of posts when I get hungry so I don't eat junk food. I gave away as much of the junk as I could. I don't want any temtations around me until I get this in order. Have a beautiful day. It is very pretty here in South Texas.

You want this to happen...see it happening in your mind. You have a good attitude...use it to help you succeed! And bravo for your excellent start!
ReplyDeleteI'm putting a link to your site on my sidebar, encouraging folks to give you support as you go through your first 30 days.
ReplyDeleteI want to help you because I once weighed in at just over 200 pounds...in a year and 5 months I've lost 40 pounds and kept it off. I did this because I wanted to be healthier...and I got results...blood pressure down, cholesterol down, size down (from 2x to a 14). It wasn't always easy but it can be done! I have another blog address for you, two ladies (mother and daughter) that I met through a mutual friend on Facebook. I'll be back with it in a minute!
This is the blog address for Doris and Robin:

I feel your pain, I struggled with weight issues most of my adult life. Please stay strong in your quest to lose weight. Put life's stresses into perspective. Feeling stressed, hungry and tired will certainly derail your efforts to lose weight. I was finally able to lose 55 pounds, which resolved the medical issues I was having, and feel great! I was able to lose weight by following an eating plan that my mother came up with, (she also struggled with weight issues for many years). With her knowledge of nutrition and a passion for cooking she came up with a easy and healthy way for us and our friends to lose weight. I wish you the best during your weight transition, and will look forward to your updates.
